Pros
The only pro about vita, despite it’s attractive, ‘shiny’ offer of no ceiling caps @ 100% commission, is to know what never to get into in business. The team however works incredibly hard and transparently together, as best they can while having to survive what no one should ever have to endure in any workplace environment.
Cons
Vita ceo leadership’s responsibility and expectations of every independent contractor before hire - “ You get to set your own schedule, work remotely, earn 100% commission, build relationships with properties of your choosing, and work as a 1099 IC” verbatim. REALITY - not only is none of this true, but the psychological manipulation I had to watch the team endure first-hand from this man should make this whole employment sham illegal for the safety of future workers. When a worker is a 1099, that means they aren’t required mandatory work or in-office hours ever. Not to mention the ceo is a pompous fool who only speaks about himself during morning meetings after requiring you to drop important sales meetings (even during high-pressure closing stages or DESPITE scheduled in-person property tours that agents were REQUIRED to attend) just to listen to his “dream about owning a Lambo” - for the hundredth time in a row - only to go from that to yelling at agents for not making sales goals then telling them they should “punish themselves” in whatever way they saw best fit.
