I am privileged to have my own family as well as my work family. Not everyone can say that! We are not only employees or a team member, but we are family here at VCG. I don’t think that I could have raised my children as a single parent without the supportive atmosphere that thrives in this company. Our supervisors and administrators are very understanding when it comes to our families, and they are supportive of our daily efforts in giving the best quality care to patients and caregivers. Because that is what we do here at VCG, we help families improve in all areas of their care. VCG provides an innovative work setting with constant learning of ways to do things better and smarter. Our supervisors have years of experience. They are good listeners, and they provide all of us with encouragement and genuine interest in all areas of our job duties. I wish that we could get off at 4:30 PM instead of 5:00 PM like the other agencies do.
