Pros

- The company offers a good salary package compared to many others in the industry, making it financially attractive for both entry-level and experienced professionals. - It serves as a strong entry point for individuals looking to break into the media sector. Employees gain exposure to various aspects of production, news, and broadcasting, which can be valuable for future opportunities.

Cons

- Nepotism: Promotions and key appointments are often based on personal connections rather than merit or qualifications, leading to a lack of professionalism and inefficiency at the top. - Some director-level staff members lack even basic management skills or relevant experience, making strategic decision-making inconsistent and at times harmful. - The company culture is characterized by extreme pressure, lack of support, and minimal respect for employees, leading to high stress and burnout. - Eroded Credibility: The brand has lost its trust and credibility among its primary audiences in Iran and Afghanistan. Viewership remains high solely due to the volume of content rather than its quality or trustworthiness. - The company focuses on mass production of content rather than meaningful, high-quality programming, which contributes to declining influence despite strong viewership metrics. - Personal political ideologies at the editorial level of both Iran and Afghanistan international news channels have significantly undermined their credibility among audiences. On numerous occasions, these outlets have promoted misinformation. Even when reporting verifiable facts, editors have deliberately framed stories in a way that serves their own interests, often creating a disruptive and biased narrative.

Pros

There simply nothing good to say about this company

Cons

Working at Iran International was an extremely negative and disheartening experience. The environment is incredibly toxic and manipulative, making it a nightmare for any journalist seeking a professional and supportive workplace. The organization is plagued with disorganization at every level, and the lack of structure leads to constant chaos and frustration. Worse, there is a culture of humiliation and blatant discrimination that leaves employees feeling undervalued and disrespected. Harassment is also a serious issue, with no meaningful accountability or protection in place for staff. For a journalist, this is one of the most demoralizing environments imaginable. The management prioritizes control and manipulation over fostering talent, creativity, or fairness. It’s clear that employee well-being is not a priority, and the toxic atmosphere makes it impossible to thrive. Save yourself the stress and frustration—working here is simply not worth it. Until Iran International addresses these deeply rooted issues, I cannot recommend this organization to anyone in journalism or media.
