New Sheriff has destroyed any semblance of a pro. He is a lying moron.

In order to make decent living, you have to work excessive overtime which is exhausting in this line of work. With the 4 hours of built in OT in my schedule, I took home just over $900 for two weeks. That is after more than ten years. Lately, so many people have jumped ship that the agency is completely understaffed. You're forced to work OT almost constantly to fill vacancies. Have plans with your family? "Suck it up buttercup, you're working whether you like it or not." I was literally told that by a captain. It's not uncommon for people to work 20 plus days in a row. Not safe. New sheriff is also a liberal media hound and would love to throw you under the bus at the first opportunity to gain some look at me time.
