Pros

- It is not a start-up anymore, even though the CEO is trying to push up this idea - International environment - Office Close to the beach - Opportunity to take lead of anything as there is no structure

Cons

- bad light in the office and huge bugs - no legal base in Spain - just in Texas, USA with the name of Nomadica Brainstorming LLC. There is no effort made towards making the business legal here, and the employees are suggested to register as autonomos. The Company refuses afterwards to pay the taxes for the autonomos under the assumption that you could work for somebody else. If you work for Vreasy, there is no chance to do something more. - the Company doesn't make any contract for the employees or helps in any direction to make the expats stay in Spain legal. - no clear work target : you could be working on something and the next day things could change or your work is not good enough - the agreed schedule was of 8hrs/day but under the supposition of flexibility, the CEO expects you to work between 9-19 at the office, in evenings and during the weekends, at no extra pay or possibility to take some time off. If there is a need to leave earlier from the office, it can cause tense situations - When the discussion about free days/vacation appears, the CEO gets extremely mad. The Spanish holidays are not respected under the supposition of taking them at a later time, but they end up never taken. When you ask for them you get a discussion about the expectation of work in the company and that if you don't like it, you are free to go wherever. - the CEO says he doesn't work with residents, but under the supposition of giving a chance to expats in Spain, he is looking for people to work as much as possible for him at a very low pay(unacceptable for living ok in Barcelona - but under the promise of high earnings and stock), and then he mistreats them by threatening them that he will not pay, by puting them to take care of his kid or join mandatory afterwork activities that 'Are obligatory, so if you don't join, why should I pay you?'. People get laid off with no prior notice, and without getting a pay for the worked days of that month. - Under the false appearance of flexibility and openness, the CEO manages to get you inside and apply the upmentioned things, until you finally leave. 'Let's paint this thing up, tell them about the boat, tell them about Barcelona, tell them about the plane, tell them about the beach and get them here and finally work for us' from a discussion with the person in charge of job posting.

Pros

- Lots of very talented coworkers and great chance to learn from a very skilled team. - Employees are dedicated and always aware of new methods and software development and they have the experience to evaluate the best technology for the company. - Close to the beach and a nice area in general to work in. - Work hard and play hard. Employees know when to blow off steam and how to do it best. - This place is great to work in if you know what you are doing or if you are willing to learn from the talented people around you and put in the hours needed.

Cons

- At times it was difficult to pinpoint who had most recent and specific knowledge for particular areas in the system. - Priorities could change within a short period of time. Employees must be ready for changes often.
