They are all in "cliques." Hypocrisy in every level of occupation. From managers and directors who only obtained their positions because they had personal friendships with the owners, to the most obnoxious group I have ever met which happen to be the Client Partners and Search Marketing teams. They all seem to be entry level and not seasoned professionals.
No leadership and no training for your position. Strict no cell phone policy, and you are considered late if you step into the office 'on time.' The CEO has idiosyncrasies that makes everyone insane. Specifically about who is allowed to brew coffee. Not because they are concerned with the machine itself, nope. It is because the CEO only cares about how he takes his own coffee. You are not allowed to brew a separate batch for yourself. How depressing.
They are very fast at passing down intimidation so that employees never feel stable. Extremely old computers that often break down and only operate on Windows. Some of us are lucky to use Macs but I feel sorry for the majority that don't. What creative agency do you know that still does this? Lastly, It is a revolving door of people starting positions and then leaving. Every person I met has only just started, or have a few months in the company. There is no long term. This is a very small advertising agency that is barely holding it together.
This is not a good place to work.
