1. Management -Management practices top down approach towards staff, and does not allow self agency -Lack of professionalism from staff at managerial positions, inconsistent instructions for the others creates extra and unclear work goals -The company operations has no proper business strategy, and it is fire fighting one day after the other with very limited commonsense. -The management directions are constantly, and drastically changing. Coupled with unclear and inconsistent directions from management, it decreases staff efficiency and frustrates staff. -The merger is adding a lot of hassle affecting people's morale. -No work ethics from management, personal biasness is displayed through casual but spiteful remarks which were often racist, sexist or homophobic 2. Human resources -HR did not fulfill verbal agreements with staff, they are just done to make people stop pointing out issues. -No job security as HR processes are opaque. -Employee's performance appraisal are bias and based on interpersonal relationships formed with disregard for objective appraisal. -Office politics is commonplace everywhere but in this company it could directly influence a staff livelihood. People are often fired, sometimes with no justification nor compensation. -Multiple occurrences of power harassment, bad behavior from manager ie. coming drunk in the office, discrimination displayed was made known to HR in the Singapore office but not being taken care of.
