Pros

At times the job could be interesting because of who the clients are. There's a nice deck to enjoy during lunch (but see the cons about daring to take a lunch break).

Cons

The atmosphere is demoralizing. It's a company where you're expected to pay your dues and put in your time, but it's never really clear what you will get for that and in the meantime you're underpaid and in a toxic environment. Wear the wrong shoes, take a lunch or not volunteer enough and you'll get a wrist slap.

Pros

Waldron is a great atmosphere. Team members are friendly, energetic, and always open to new faces! The company has a well-established intern program that has seen many interns go on to do great things, a few even started their careers at Waldron. For those looking into recruiting, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, but it really is what you make of it. If you ask for more responsibility and demonstrate strong abilities, you will get it. You are always welcome to be creative and contribute to the workflows of the company. At the end of the internship, you present on what your legacy you leave to the company so you know they care about their interns!

Cons

No real cons, and this may be the nature of the organization, but it would be cool to explore the other parts of the company besides executive search.
