Worst thing I ever did was accept the job at WanderJaunt. - Operations Associate WanderJaunt Employee Review

As you can see, none of the pros are things of importance. Those things, such as communication, company infrastructure, competent managers, and motivated individuals, do NOT reside at WanderJaunt. This has to be the laziest, most unorganized company I have ever worked for. One month into my new job and my co workers, and management is 1000x what it ever was at WJ. What isn’t wrong with this company? Not many competent people run this company and it shows. At least 10-15 complaints by guests daily and they have every right. Held accountable for issues that may arise even when OFF THE CLOCK. I believe I was by far the best, hardest working employee at this company by far. It’s amazing how there is no sense of urgency by operations associates and management. They seem to not understand what it takes to run a SUCCESSFUL company. It will be interesting to see the decline in WJ after rolling out properties in San Diego. In my honest opinion I will give this company 1-2 more years before having to shut down. Very unfriendly people and if you look at the reviews for guests that have stayed at their properties you will see what I mean. Employees crash the cars almost daily and do not get in trouble. Many other employees have stolen from their coworkers only for it to be brushed off- no reprimand. WJ needs to bring in some people who have real world experience and ditch the ignorance that is at the company now. As someone who found another job almost immediately after leaving WJ, I can say confidently one of my biggest life choices to date was working at WanderJaunt. From the surface it looks like a normal functioning company, but be around for a couple weeks and everything spirals out of control. Managers cannot control employees and have no will or desire to LEAD. I have had many jobs but none even remotely as close to as shady and sketchy WJ was. If you want a career future with a job, do not work with WJ. Not only will they fall off in several years but no opportunities for advancement which is obvious as the hardest, quickest, most precise and friendly employee(me) did not get a chance to advance. I had to leave this company and I am so glad I did. Benefits actually alright but that’s about the only good thing this company has going for them. Most properties completely outdated and filled with EXTREMELY cheap furniture. Very tacky and they do not want to spend the money to get these fixed even after guests complain daily. The customer associates are also very lazy at their job and many don’t really even try. Interior designers are decent but that’s it. To add on to everything homeless people sleep at just about every entrance to the building not more than 25 yards from it. No security tapes put up, no fencing, no nothing. WanderJaunt, you have given it a shot(not a good shot but a shot none the less) you must realize when it’s time to cut your losses and move on.
