Pros

Great culture, great people, great benefits, and great work-life balance.

Cons

It sometimes feels like a risky environment, since it's a startup; the cons of that are that we never know what tomorrow holds.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience at Warmly. We are thrilled to hear that you’re enjoying the culture and the people here. Those are the things we work hardest to protect as we grow. It’s also great to know that our benefits and commitment to work-life balance are hitting the mark for you! We also hear you on the "startup risk" factor. We know that the fast-paced, ever-changing nature of a startup can feel a bit like a rollercoaster sometimes. Please know that we are committed to transparency and keeping the team informed as we build our future together. We’re grateful to have people like you on this journey with us.

Pros

The employees are nice but not the leadership

Cons

Toxic leadership that prioritizes LinkedIn image over employee wellbeing. Leadership consistently dismisses safety concerns from employees during mandatory company events. When staff raised legitimate issues about accommodations, like sharing the same bed as coworkers, they were told company “culture” and “having fun” matters more than their comfort or safety. Revenue prioritized over basic respect. Many witnessed inappropriate sexual behavior from clients toward female employees which was celebrated by leadership because it resulted in contract renewals. Leadership made it clear that business outcomes justified tolerating unprofessional conduct by telling harassed employee they “took one for the team” Retaliation culture. Employees who voice concerns about workplace issues face immediate negative consequences including terminations. Management bypass normal chains of command to target specific individuals. Performance standards are applied inconsistently and threaten job security that change without notice including commission payouts. Gender dynamics are problematic. Clear patterns in how male vs. female employees are treated regarding advancement opportunities, performance expectations, and whose concerns are taken seriously. Women disproportionately affected despite performance metrics. If you are a woman this is not a place for you. Forced “startup culture” used to justify poor boundaries. Mandatory attendance at social events with uncomfortable dynamics. Personal time and professional boundaries not respected. Leadership owns your LinkedIn They force employees to provide their personal LinkedIn information which anyone can access including viewing your passwords and personal messages. They use it to automate liking the CEOs LinkedIn posts. They have access to all conversations within your LinkedIn inbox. Employees who refused were screamed at and threatened And the product doesn’t work

We’re sorry to read this review. This individual was part of a recent reduction in force, and while we understand that was a difficult experience, it’s disappointing to see this kind of retaliation. Many of the claims made here simply don’t reflect what actually happened or who we are as a company. On rooming accommodations and safety: During our last company offsite, HR worked directly with this individual to make sure they were comfortable. When they raised concerns about rooming arrangements, we immediately provided separate accommodations and have since transitioned from Airbnbs to individual hotel rooms to ensure even more privacy and comfort for everyone. On workplace respect: We have zero tolerance for harassment or inappropriate behavior — from employees, clients, or anyone else. Any concern raised is taken seriously and addressed promptly through proper HR channels. The idea that leadership would overlook or excuse misconduct for business reasons is completely false. On retaliation: We encourage open communication and take employee feedback seriously. No one has ever been retaliated against for raising a concern. Our performance expectations are clearly defined, and we hold everyone to the same standards. On gender dynamics: We’re proud to have women in leadership and across all levels of the company. Promotions and opportunities are based solely on performance and contribution. On culture: We value building connection as a team but never force participation in social events. We respect everyone’s personal time and boundaries, and we’re continuously working to maintain a healthy, supportive culture as we grow. We wish this former employee the best moving forward. Our focus remains on fostering a respectful, transparent, and collaborative environment for our team.
