Pros

health insurance jeans fridays free orca card vacation time paid holidays sick time free coffee, water, tea, hot chocolate if your desk chair isn't right for you, they will get you a new one headset for your desk phone if you want one

Cons

i know, i know. the wasington state bar sounds very prestigious, right? working for the mandatory bar that regulates attorneys AND helps champion justice. but don't be fooled: the management here stinks and employee retention is the pits. but to play devil's advocate for the management, it is true that the organization is full of lazy complainers who act like they are working for a state agency and spend way too much time complaining about how horrible the pay is and management is and how awful they are treated by the members (the attorneys they serve). HEY! why the heck did you take this job, then? there is no shortage of work - but there is a "slow" time - but during compliance season it is CRAZY busy in the "i feel overwhelmed but the work is tedious / boring". if this job is for you, then go ahead and apply: jobs open up there all the time and you may just get in.
