Pros
- feels good to work in a space that is helping the environment - they don’t do a lot of swag which aligns with sustainability values - onboarding was a breeze
Cons
- leadership literally said to me “we don’t want long term solutions. We want short term solutions.” - middle managers falling over themselves to show value, often in too many lanes, doing too much but showing nothing of value in the end - company still struggling to align on how to measure success, what KPIs to use, and how to use it. Basic math alludes them at all levels. - senior leaders seems lost and winging it. Still around based on pure favoritism and long term relationships with c-suite - c-suite is young and ambitious but does not know what success looks like, hiring the wrong people and strong-arming them into their short-sighted visions - colleagues have been fired due to prioritizing family over work - everything is an emergency but nothing is really moving the needle on establishing a stable foundation - whiplash from failure to commit to any sort of plan constantly kicks up dust and puts everyone in crisis mode
