Pros

Let me stay at property when they purchased it.

Cons

Micromanagement, when purchased community made me start over with tenure (i had been there for 7 years), started a rehab with no real direction, did not trust the team they had hired constantly micromanaging us, during rehab the construction manager seemed to find reasons to get staff in trouble rather than be supportive and helpful. I've left the company along with my entire team and I understand it only gets worse. I believe they are not a company in it for the long haul. They don't want to support their on-site teams they only want to sell the properties they own quickly. I was hoping they would sell my property so a new company would potentially come in a treat us better but I just couldn't stick it out even after 10 years at the property. I miss the community everyday but I know as long as waypoint owns it it will never feel like a neighborhood but just a profit center.

Pros

Well, this company said 'thank you' in your paycheck, not a pizza party! And if you needed help, there were multiple administrative outlets you could reach out to.

Cons

Lots of reports, just put your head down and be proactive about expense tracking, and you will do fine.

Pros

Pay is good. Commission structure is generous and the housing discount too

Cons

Upper Management , waypoint has went downhill with their recently hired staff. It’s like they’re just letting anyone in the company now. On site property managers are winging it, they have no clue what they’re doing and leave it to the assistants or leasing to run the show, while they take credit for everything. All the good employees have left or will be. Management loves gossiping as well
