Pros

Coworkers and an urban office location.

Cons

People are terminated or demoted on a weekly basis. Unqualified, overly-competitive people sometimes receive up to 5 promotional title changes within a 2 year span due to short staffing. VP's have fled the company after 3 - 6 months of work and are never heard from again. Communication and compensation are incredibly poor. Company outings and business sectors have been removed due to lack of employees and funding.

Pros

Let me stay at property when they purchased it.

Cons

Micromanagement, when purchased community made me start over with tenure (i had been there for 7 years), started a rehab with no real direction, did not trust the team they had hired constantly micromanaging us, during rehab the construction manager seemed to find reasons to get staff in trouble rather than be supportive and helpful. I've left the company along with my entire team and I understand it only gets worse. I believe they are not a company in it for the long haul. They don't want to support their on-site teams they only want to sell the properties they own quickly. I was hoping they would sell my property so a new company would potentially come in a treat us better but I just couldn't stick it out even after 10 years at the property. I miss the community everyday but I know as long as waypoint owns it it will never feel like a neighborhood but just a profit center.

Pros

If you make it here you’ll make it anywhere You’ll learn everything, even how to fix the kitchen sink If you latch on to someone that cares you’ll get promoted/ title changed 3 times in a year.

Cons

Horrible work life balance, if they call you at midnight you better pick up the phone. Look around, everyone has either gotten fired or laid off, such a bright future you have. Nail bitting atmosphere, no stability, tremendous bullying from Sr. Management. You’re everyone’s friend until it’s time to kiss it goodbye. Will my paycheck come next period? Even the coffee machines get cut.
