Pros

C-suite and GM management is good

Cons

For a firm that is advising Fortune 500 firms on DE&I efforts, there is a lot of work to do to get their own house in order. In my time at the firm my team underwent a "restructuring" (based on no hard metrics or reviews) that resulted in every single heteronormative male receiving a promotion, at the expense of all women and queer men (largely of color). After some digging, it became clear that my VP was over-promoting men in a way that was statistically significant (her teams were consistently balanced genderwise). After sharing these concerns and this data with HR (along with multiple other teammates) I was told they were conducting a serious investigation. In reality, they laid off the HR executive leading the investigation and promoted the VP with the discriminatory track record. All while continuing to advise clients on the importance of diversity. The hypocrisy is rich.
