Pros
First, keep in mind that Welkin had a complete management and product change starting in early 2020, so the organization, product, and leadership is entirely different from some of the earlier reviews. I have never experienced any micromanagement or some of the pettiness that may have plagued the earlier team, so take some former employee reviews with a grain of salt.
That established, here is where I see the company:
-Growing fast: The team is succeeding in sales and growth targets, and adding positions as fast as we can.
-Strong and responsive leadership: All levels of the organization are able to provide input into the direction of the company, and the leadership listens
-Great work environment: The collective team is all vested in the success of the company and are a fun and personable team, with a great skill set as well
-Great pay and benefits: Pay is very fair with good benefits befitting a company of this stage
-Customers: Welkin has a great set of new and legacy customers that are growing with us, providing product roadmap input, and seem to truly enjoy and value our partnerships
-Learning environment: The team is great at sharing and teaching about different aspects of the company, so you won't live in a silo, and there is always more than enough work of varied types to keep you engaged!
Cons
-Startup life can mean some late nights, and with our current growth we don't always have the staff when we need it. Growing pains.
-No office. All work is done remote which can be a curse or blessing depending on perspective (I love it). There is a lot of video used on calls and we do virtual events frequently, but this can make relating to other team members a challenge if you require in person engagement.
