      Being there, people are more than willing to give a helping hand to new staff as well as their fellow colleagues. Furthermore, they are open to new ideas and concept.

      Pros

      Compensation was solid. Benefits were consistently good. The cafeteria was a real perk. Sounds trivial until you've worked somewhere that doesn't have one. Culture at the team level was collaborative, not cutthroat. If you liked fixed income, you could go deep on it here; the firm didn't try to be everything to everyone, which I respected.

      Cons

      Senior leadership could be opaque about direction.

      Great Medical, Dental and Vision completely paid for with bonus of company funded FSA

      Satellite office has little to no room for advancement.
