Pros

Great co-workers all striving to put out a daily newspaper and website under continuing difficult circumstances. Talented journalists and graphic artists working together and doing their best work while facing challenging work conditions.

Cons

Employees have had to accept cuts in wages and hours, as well as a loss of health benefits and matching retirement funds. Job layoffs are now the norm, and many long time senior employees have either left the newspaper or have been let go to save money. This is also the fourth straight month that payroll has faced a delay of several days.

Pros

Great Experience and skill developing.

Cons

It was a college-paid internship at a professional newspaper that could only pay for three months.

Pros

Co workers are nice. The first 3 months the pay is great because of the guaranteed commission.

Cons

Literally EVERYTHING else. The training is atrocious, the communication is non existent, no direction from management or supervisors. The sales strategies are unethical. If you don't like training, direction, or supervision, and want to sell yourself to the devil for a 2% commission to get them out of bankruptcy this place is for you. I wish I could add images to show the texts I sent to people while bored out of my mind in "training" also known as reading any paper I could find for a month.
