Great coworkers, but poor management harms morale - Certified Surgical Technologist Wheeling Hospital Employee Review

Director of the OR has no OR experience other than pacu. Got fired and brought back as a director. Doesn’t listen to concerns and laughs them off, tries to tell you lies to either keep you happy or to make you stay employed. There is zero accountability with her. She doesn’t tell the drs when anything is wrong or happening. She leaves it up to the employees. She’s terrible for morale and most of the OR is leaving because of her right now. There are too many drs and not enough staff and we are being way over worked and spread too thin while she just laughs. Surgical techs do way more than circulating nurses and surgical techs make enough money to just get by. It’s not fair.
