Pros
I've worked for small family owned companies, and I've worked for large international multiple million dollar companies. And Whitmor by far is the best place I have ever worked. It's like the best of a small place with owners on site, at a company who is truly making waves on a national and international scale. Even since I have been here, I have been amazed at how the company has grown, but all the while made me feel like I was an important part of the company. Whitmor has a Core Engagement team in place made up of nominated employees purely to plan activities for the company to reward their efforts and help us to gather as a team. How many companies have that? Executive Management has an open door policy and I love the flexibility. So many corporate environments have to go through many committees and studies and such to get something done. At Whitmor, ideas and refinements that are discussed can be put into action quickly. It's refreshing. Not sure about where these bad reviews are coming from besides disgruntled employees who didn't make it. Yes, this company is fast paced. The work doesn't let up. But this is a company where things happen. You have to keep up.
Cons
Being a small office there is the usual "I heard so and so say this" and a little of people "telling" on others. I definetly don't think this is exclusive to Whitmor though. You just have to keep your head down and keep busy and tune it out. It happens everywhere. Other than that, no complaints.
