Pros
- Opportunity to work on big, challenging consumer problems - Flexible work environment - Ability to work remotely anytime, anywhere - Big company benefits, startup culture - Really feels like they care about your growth, development, and satisfaction in the job - They care about where you're at in your life, very supportive as I've become a new parent
Cons
- A sense of building the plane while you're flying it. In a bigger company, there are a lot of things already in place. Here, everyone is figuring things out as we go. A fun part of the challenge for sure, but can be disorienting when you first start here. - Developing product is a new muscle. This is great, you can define how it should work. But there are also some habits I was accustomed to that I had to work through evaluating and either eliminating or improving across the board. - When working remote, takes extra work to figure out what's happening in HQ.
