Good pay easy tasks good schedule

A bit stressful at times

The students at Wings are very sweet and often say things that will make you laugh. Each classroom is equipped with a Smartboard and various materials for working on students’ goals. The pay and benefits are good considering many people join without experience. It is a great place to learn about Autism and break into the field of special education. The education coordinator is very caring and tries to listen and get to know staff.

Some of the kids have challenging behaviors. You have to be very patient and find joy in small victories, like when a child learns to say a new word. Some students require bathroom assistance. Some staff members like to gossip and stay in their classrooms. It takes a bit of effort to reach out and get to know each member of the staff.
