Cons
I worked at wishbox studio and unfortunately, my experience was not at all good. The work environment was highly unprofessional, starting from the top with the owner.
When new employees join, they are expected to handle everything independently without any proper training. The company primarily hires freshers, likely because they can pay lower salaries, but then expects them to perform tasks beyond their capacity without adequate support or guidance.
Additionally, there is a distinct lack of professionalism throughout the organization. Employees are often required to take on tasks outside their job descriptions, and any pushback is met with the sentiment that "it's your job now."
One of the most concerning aspects is the owner’s reliance on a single individual. This person, regardless of their actual role or expertise, has significant influence over the owner. Consequently, the owner tends to agree with whatever this individual says, leading to biased decision-making and stifling any real opportunities for growth.
Overall, there is no room for professional development as the company entrusts all significant responsibilities to this so-called position manager, effectively sidelining other employees and disregarding their potential contributions.
Positive reviews on Glassdoor are often forced by current employees, which does not reflect the true state of the company.
In summary, lacks the structure, training, and professionalism required to foster a positive and productive work environment.
