Pros
- Cool product
- Creative coworkers
- Flexible working: any time start / end as long as you're working during core hours (10-4) and 5 weeks remote work per year
- Great location with good lunch options nearby
- Great values (if they stick to them)
Cons
- 2 rounds of redundancies in 2 years: employees bare the burden of failing strategy while C-suite level execs continue making bad decisions & keep their jobs and comfy salaries.
- Unprofessional at times: lack of process overall (and still no real HR), senior leads disclosing things they shouldn't be, poor communication over big projects meaning the people that need to know things are often left in the dark.
- Low salaries
- No real career development - left to DIY with a Learnably budget and no support
- Immense workloads: middle managers bare a large amount of execution work as well as wider strategic thinking
