Great mission and staff; bad management - Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator Worcester County Food Bank Employee Review

The executive director was a micromanager and the atmosphere in the office was nothing short of grim. Staff were scolded for talking too much to each other and the COO at the time spent most of her day on the phone with HR(outsourced). What none of them realized was that most of their conversations could be heard in the offices. I was hired to do outreach and never given permission to attend any of the events I found. I understand now this was the decision of the ED.
