Pros

The employees (outside of leadership) are some of the most supportive, collaborative, and resilient people I’ve ever worked with. Unfortunately, much of that comes from being “trauma bonded” through the instability here.

Cons

Leadership is deeply inconsistent — the CEO regularly disparages competitors but then recruits from those same companies. Constant layoffs and financial instability; cash flow is a major issue. Terminations during medical treatment (including chemotherapy), with leadership excusing it as “in the works for a while.” Inappropriate behavior at company events, including executives openly using substances where illegal. European leaders frequently act unprofessionally but face no consequences due to personal ties with the CEO. Sales layoffs are handled haphazardly; those who remain are often disengaged. Product misrepresentation: company inflates pipeline numbers, misleads investors, and exaggerates customer list (e.g., Starbucks is not actually a client). Roadmaps and product development are regularly misrepresented to prospects. Leadership turnover is stalled — senior executives remain in roles long after it’s clear change is needed. HR repeatedly fails to address inappropriate conduct, including personal oversharing by managers and harassment from colleagues. Employees are promised promotions or new roles that never materialize; instead, staff are burned out and let go.
