Upper Management seems like they genuinely want to help people. Middle Management runs their teams off of fear, intimidation, and cruelty. Do yourself a favor and seek employment elsewhere. Change won't happen with an ingrained culture that creates the illusion of helping clients and determining which ones are worthy of support. If you voice a varied perspective it will not be tolerated.
