Pros
For a call center, this place treats their employees very well. To start, the pay is ok, and benefits kick in within a month which is great. There are performance based money incentives each month. One of the best things is that we get payed to carpool. 2 people carpool to work, they each get 5 dollars. 3 is 7.50, 4 is 15$, and 5 is 20$ to each person carpooling EACH DAY. That is cool. The new performance incentives are going to be good too, because you get a little bonus based on how many reservations you make, ect.... This is an overall great job for a young person who does not know what they want to do, or needs to work full time while going to school. Oh yeah, i also forgot they do tuition re-imbursement.
Cons
They don't give cost of living increases in salary or anything other than a yearly review, and that kind of sucks. The job is very boring sometimes, answering call after call, and when we have a queue of like 30 people, there is no break in between except for writing notes in their account. The owners of the timeshares are sometimes angry and yell at you because they bought into something they don't want. There is not really many opportunities to move up in the company at all. There is a reservations team and a owner relations team, which are the people that REALLY get yelled at by the owners calling in. They take escalated calls, like angry people that won't calm down, or people with complaints. Owner Relations is really the only job to move up to at this job. Yay. Also- you cant even access or put money in your 401k for a whole year. thats unheard of.
