Pros
- Full time employees have many benefits: Educational budget, health insurance, monthly expenses budget (bonus), PTO, freeze time between projects, etc. - So many aliances & partnerships with free-low cost certifications & courses (Databricks, GCP, AWS, Azure, GitHub, etc.) - Good career path / opportunities to grow internally - Cares about people, comprensive management, recurrent 1-1 to track down feeling - Good environment, global company across globe, everyone is very welcoming - Stable company and , most of coworkers stays for long term (>4 years)
Cons
- Not so good for contractors, almost all of the benefits are allowed for contractors. No PTO, vacations, holidays, educational budget, certifications or freeze time between projects. No project = no work = no job - Too many tools/software for management and communications - Salary adjustments (increases) are not that frequent, you should stand out and keep track of all your achievements in order to be elegible for a raise or promotion. - You barely talk/meet other countries coworkers, everybody keep them in their local networks.
