Pros
Good comradery with colleagues. Made some really good friends. Allowed to 'work' from home which can be very handy at times.
Cons
All the best people have left or taken the money and run! Those who had the experience, knowledge and skills have left. No salary increase for 7 years. Always cutting back and getting us to do more with less. The fun has gone out of the company. It used to be a truly great place to work with rewards for effort and there was real team-work. Now everyone works in isolation. Have to get permission to drive to another office in order to meet the right people to sort out a problem. No money and little motivation to do anything. In higher management its jobs for the boys. It's not how good you are but who you know, play golf or sail with! All the good guys and gals have gone and all have done brilliantly in other companies. No benefits at all. Can't buy anything at employee rates. Was a great company to work for once, now a rather poor one.
