Pros
Everyone that works here is really kind and easy to work with. I always felt heard. They have a good training program in place and the other employees are always super helpful and happy to help. Progressive work environment where I felt valued. I never felt like "less than" because I was an assistant and not a lawyer. Leena values mental health and always made sure the employees are taken care of. We were able to take wellness days, no questions asked. Our gym memberships were paid for. All full time employees work 4 day work weeks, not just the lawyers. Very generous employer where I always felt valued. In my time working there, Leena paid for me to go on vacation more then once and took the entire firm on a retreat to Mexico and Whistler. They live their progressive values. The firm pays a living wage for every employee all the way down to the interns, junior assistants and the janitors who change the garbage cans. The firm is incredibly diverse and not an old men's club.
Cons
It's a very busy place to work. Things can change quickly due to the fast pace of the work. Family law is often very stressful.
