Leadership, sales process, people management, culture, etc.
Was asked by a sales manager how to sell the product in my first two months (isn't that what you tell me?) Had to listen to the CEO give a lecture on how companies exist to be acquired ending with "...and that's economics," to a room full of college grads no less (supposedly a former sales guy, but asked what a self-sourced lead is...). Had three different managers in 4 months. Senior management is jumping ship and instead of hiring qualified, competent people they are either dual hatting current employees or promoting good ICs with no leadership experience.
Appears to be a race to the bottom, with the CEO's idea of profitability to cut expenses by firing employees and low-balling underqualified leadership who take the positions with dollar signs in their eyes. Culture of blame vs accountability. Operates in complete contradiction to their supposed "core values" - especially at the top.
