      Pros

      - Good benefits, especially health benefits. - There are opportunities to develop outside of your role via secondments etc. - Organisation truly cares about its members and purpose. - Good work life balance in my team, although this isn’t consistent across the business. - Bonus scheme. - New CEO is a good figurehead and seems to care about colleagues opinions. - Colleagues are committed to YBS and its values. - Lots of opportunities to support local charities and get involved in fundraising or volunteering. - Generally, the mid level managers really care about people. - Office buildings are nice and Yorkshire Drive has a good atmosphere. - Most people who work here are nice people. - Supportive environment overall, colleagues will help you when you need it.

      Cons

      - Limited training and development opportunities if you don’t want to side step or move roles. Makes it difficult to grow in your role. - Poor reward and recognition, difficult to stay motivated. - Favouritism. - Pay not competitive. - Loyalty not rewarded. - Slow to implement wider change, but change on a smaller scale (within individual teams) can be rolled out too quickly and is mismanaged. - Slow on the D&I front. As a neurodiverse colleague I sometimes felt overlooked and undervalued which negatively affected my confidence and motivation. - Ideas from junior staff are not taken seriously or are ignored. Case in point, I wasn’t offered an exit interview. - Retail colleagues undervalued.

      Fun and talented colleague that will feel like family Looked after by the company Close knit throughout the company Friendly managers you can banter with but still business focussed
