This is a family business. Higher management are all related to each other one way or anther. Which means they got their jobs not through competence but bloodline. So when they screw up, they do not get fired, they start blaming who works under them-middle management and artists. So everyone is stressed out then became nasty and the blame game is everywhere all the time. The year I was there, the turn over rate is extremely high. by the time I left, no one i worked with at the start is there anymore. They asked people to do jobs they were NOT hired for, when the person cannot do it, they were fired without any training, also many people got fed up and left, swear never work there again. Coordinators come and go, even production managers quit. It's a joke. Extremely unprofessional. They are too cheap to buy a proper production management software such as shotgun and rely to online folders. They are also too cheap to invest on a proper communication software and rely on a free software with which messages disappear all the time. They even avoid team meetings because they feel meetings are too expensive. I still didn't know any of my teammates face by the time I left, except the ones I have worked with in other companies. Literally everyone hates it and are just there for the paycheck. On top of that, they are not clear on what each job entail per industrial standard, so you get hired for one job but asked to do another. It is legit horrible. They seem to not understand each artist has their own aspirations and career goals and will just stuff you in a role that they feel they need. The whole company is a giant mess. They do not seem to know how productions are run. For example, the producer did not know to control the amount of characters at the script stage. When things go into a cluster mess, the producer tried to blame everyone under her. It is ridiculous. Crazy part is, since it's a family business, upper managements do not get fired. Avoid any way you can.
