Pros

* Co-workers are good, shared pain makes people bond lol * It was once a good place, no longer in the past 1+ year.

Cons

* Managers and new directors should not be hired from outside / different domains. * They need training on how to be empathetic, have more clarity on work, rather than just doing "What's the update on X?" "Why is Y not done?" "It's a easy task, should not take much time" * "Quick wins", "Quick wins". It is only because they're concerned about selling reassurance to their bosses

Zip Co Response

Thank you for your recent feedback about your work experience at Zip. I assure you we take this type of feedback from co-workers seriously, particularly given the tenure you've noted as part of this review. First, I wanted to say how saddened I am having read this review. I am committed to listening to our employees about the opportunities we have to uplift the capabilities of our leadership group, and beyond that, build a culture that we can all be proud to be a part of. While your post provides some useful pointers of advice, it unfortunately doesn't indicate the team you were a part of, making it difficult to fully address the issues you've raised. Would you be open to a confidential conversation with me so that I can gather the information needed to investigate, and put in place some interventions where appropriate? Please reach out to me via angel.johnson@zip.co and I will prioritize a confidential call with you. Dr Angel Johnson, VP People & Culture US
