This is because the vast majority of people in the company do not have the slightest mastery of technology, or even how to operate the product. - Multiple technical debts, and they are never a priority - They say they use the Shape Up methodology, but in fact, they don't. The most basic and important aspect of Shape Up is to define the appetite first, then stop shaping the scope of the project that will be developed. At Zubale, the exact opposite is done, first the PMs prepare the pitch, then calculate the estimate - Older engineers are not open to suggestions for new technologies and architectures - There is no priority for improving the career of engineers - Misalignment between leaders from different countries on what is a priority - Zubaleros are not rewarded as they should be, nor prioritized in the development of new tools, which makes many of them give up using the app
