Pros

Friendly environment, nice and cosy building, good facilities on site (gym/canteen/bar), good training provided, chance to travel for work

Cons

Referral program and hiring process. Carrer progression, at least on Dublin site is mostly based on how you would relate to management then on your actual potentials and skills. Very poor management choices/ strategy for European markets. Too many internal reorganisations of teams/ department' structures (European markets) with no real positive or effective results. Very little focus on customer satisfaction in terms of giving the chance to customer service representatives to make customers happy (doing exceptions to rules, giving vouchers to spend on site). The way internal departments interact is really slow and inefficient. Compensation for expert agents is really low compared to other companies and demand on them is extremely high.

Pros

It is equivalent to winning the lottery for a dream job.

Cons

Sunday work can be challenging- due to daycare challenges, but ebay supports work/life balance so its not really a con

Pros

-easy to start and list items -cheaper shipping than retail -high demand items sell quick -make extra income

Cons

-customers / buyers that put in Cart but never buy. eBay does not survive on window shoppers and neither do I -low demand items can wait for years -need a ton of inventory, but high demand as possible, otherwise you will probably fail like me -buyer fraud - trying to get your items for free -competition where some sellers have items selling way under what you are selling for and they do not seem to care about profit at all based on how low the price is (ie: books) -buyers don't leave feedback especially if you are new, so it makes it really hard to get going -scammers but not a whole lot, definitely if you're new tho
