ok - DevOps Technician goBalto Employee Review

Work: My role was in sales ops so I acquired several new analytical and reporting skills throughout my internship. I also learned a ton of info about the pharma industry which I thought was quite interesting. My manager was very nice and always made time at least once a week to see how I was doing. I especially appreciated how he assigned me projects that were not only useful for the company but also aligned to my specific career interests. Culture: Diverse company full of great people to work with. I think goBalto does a great job hiring considering everybody I met were not only smart but also very friendly and social. All my coworkers made me feel comfortable asking for any assistance and/or clarification. And quick shout-out to my lunch buddies! I already miss you guys. Location: goBalto is a 3 min walk from Powell bart station, and is walking distance to a countless number of delicious eateries. However, eating out in SF can add up quickly, which is why I sincerely appreciated goBalto for catering lunch three times a week and fully stocking the break room with fruits and other goodies. Overall, goBalto is doing a great job at creating an enjoyable work hard, play hard work environment. I learned a ton of great information and thoroughly enjoyed my summer internship. Thanks goBalto!!

This company is fantastic. I came from a bit of a tremulous company before with a lot of negativity and an unhealthy work/life balance, and was really scared I'd find my way back into a similar environment, and wow did I get lucky. goBalto is incredibly supportive, filled with creative and innovative thinkers who make me excited to be at work everyday. I don't think I can say enough positive things, I must sound like a broken record, but it's genuine and real. A really unique thing about this company is how collaborative it is in all aspects. Entry level positions work with top executives everyday and their opinions and ideas are truly listened to and valued. Work/Life Balance is really unique here, too. Everyone gets their work done when they're supposed to, but come 5:30pm, the office really clears out and no one makes you feel like you should stay longer or work into the night. So long as you're doing what you're supposed to, no one has a problem. You also have a lot of autonomy. If they're hiring you, they must trust you, and you have so much freedom within your role, it's just on you to make the most of it. We have catered lunches every m/w/f and an awesome in-office happy hour every Friday that's run by our founder.

Because we have offices on both coasts, we sometimes run the risk of having meetings during lunch.. that's my only con at this time.
