Pros

The biggest pro was intelligent and helpful colleagues. The helpful nature was dwindling towards the end of my stint, this is because everybody was busy and nobody had time for this anymore. Another great advantage is that you get to have the first-hand experience with clients. This adds to the exposure you receive and also puts you in a challenging situation which often brings the best in an individual.

Cons

There are a lot of cons but I will try and highlight a few key ones which might be deal breakers for a majority. Employees are not treated with love. Essentially, I mean that management doesn't understand that employees are their assets and should be cared for. Senior management tries to give you a notion that they are an analytics-driven consulting firm, but they have pivoted from that strategy in the last few years and are now focussed on other things (Projects in partnership with SAS to showcase the capabilities of SAS products, RISK, AML etc) The problem-solving approach they take is solid, but they aren't open to new things resulting in a monotonous approach towards all problems The company has a lot of financial problems. They often fail to pay salaries on time, maintain petty cash for employees at client locations etc. They try and cut down the expenses for small things resulting in an increase in employee satisfaction
