Pros

Great co-workers that developed into friendships. Remote work option and flexible schedule.

Cons

Culture is pretty bad. Walk on eggshells never knowing when the next person will be fired or laid off. No growth potential.

Pros

I think it's a stable place to work if you're a manager.

Cons

What happened to me occurred in 2014-2015. The same people are still there, so I feel it's useful to relate the following: I was brought on as a contractor. I did only a little work, but my feedback was 100% positive. Then my wife nearly died while traveling overseas, leaving me as a solo parent to our toddler for a couple of months. I still met all my deadlines at iHire and kept getting positive reviews for my work. Then my father got brain cancer, and I had to stay with him for a while. And I *still* met all my deadlines and kept getting positive reviews for my work. Then one day, while I was driving to the hospital to move my father to hospice, my POC at iHire called me to fire me, saying I was "distracted." Never one complaint about my work, and never one request that I change course - and they knew I was on my way to pull the plug on my dad at that moment. Um yeah, I was indeed "distracted." Please consider whether you want to work for people who would do that.
