Pros

When the company made money, things looked and felt good. If you are in sales, the company has a decent reimbursement and per-diem policy. Also, it has an Ok engineering team with some young crowd.

Cons

My interview process was interesting. Met quite a few interesting people who said several promising things. So obviously, when you are coming to the company for the first time, things will look good, very rosy. Once I accepted the offer, the initial first few weeks felt fine. Just a few weeks later, I could smell the true nature of iRise. There's trouble every where in every department. If you are associated with sales, you are always "targeted". Just after 3 months of being there, I could see how people change. The real picture is that if you are in sales, you are always vulnerable every day. And believe me, when I say every day will feel like your last day in the company. There will not be any peace.

Pros

Industry leading pay and a dynamic environment. Engineering team is top notch delivering an amazing product. The company has a big enough footprint to offer exciting travel opportunities, including travel to Europe and Asia for sales and consulting professionals.

Cons

If you work in Sales or Professional Services there is extensive travel required. Most consultants travel Monday through Friday, sometimes Sunday to Friday. The product lacks direction and has been slow to adapt to some market realities. However this is being mitigated and a bolder product with a much richer feature set is on the way.
