Pros

Helping restaurants and small businesses, some great people.

Cons

I initially enjoyed Inkind, but over time it lost its appeal. It's no longer a fulfilling or vibrant workplace, which is disheartening. The leadership team lacks maturity, the vision is scattered, and questionable business decisions supported only by yes-men have derailed the company. Leadership lacks all necessary seasoned business acumen. In the face of minor challenges that naturally come with growth, they react impulsively, directing frustration at the wrong targets. Frequent team reorganizations result in overworked, understaffed, and confused teams. Office dynamics are marred by incessant drama and gossip, leaving employees on edge. Hasty business decisions often alter employee roles without corresponding salary adjustments, setting them up for failure. The rotating door of contractors and friends of executives filling roles without addressing the mass exodus of long-time employees disrupts the workplace culture and erodes trust. Pros

The People - Kind & Friendly - Harworking - Collaborative - Approachable The Company - Fast-growing - Gives incentives to work towards (i.e. bonuses and promotions) - Interesting product & mission of helping restaurants - Innovative cross-departmental opportunities (if you don't mind lack of structure) Perks & Benefits - Free lunch & snacks - Great health insurance - Unlimited PTO & Great Parental Leave - Dog friendly office

Cons

Leadership - Disorganized, Impulsive, Inexperienced - Not the best at communication - Clear favoritism of particular employees or family members - Often creates an air of anxiety; no one feels safe in their position - Creates an atmosphere where you cannot disagree with leaders at all. You will see senior leaders tell executives they love a change and agree, but in meetings they will say otherwise. - Friends, family, & favorites get promoted; other employees are expected to do more without recognition or raises. Company - Toxic - Multiple restructures, firings, and team dissolutions without a clear reason why - Zero structure or organization - Working there is like running at a dead sprint every day - Expect to work longer than 8 hours a day & some weekends - Told you're like family, but no one should treat their family like this??? - Sexism & Nepotism - The mission was to help restaurants, but it didn't feel like the core mission at the end.
