Pros
I was sad to see the recent negative reviews for Leapcure, as this is literally the best place I've ever worked for!
* The company is extremely mission-driven, and that focus is felt from top to bottom of the organization. Everyone I’ve spoken with genuinely cares about matching patients to trials that could help them. It feels meaningful to know that the work we do has a positive impact on people’s lives.
*I thrive in an environment where there is a certain amount of ambiguity, and my manager gives me the freedom to explore and solve problems in the way I see fit, as long as I can support my proposals with strong reasoning. There have been times when I’ve had perspectives that differed from leadership’s initial views, but I have always felt heard—often with my feedback ultimately being taken on board.
* The people here are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and respectful. That culture makes a huge difference in fostering psychological safety and mental well-being. Everyone is also always helpful to teach me about their area of the company, so I always feel supported.
Cons
* Because the CEO and a few other leaders are based on the West Coast, some work meetings can end up being fairly late in the day for those on the East Coast.
It’s very much a startup environment—there isn’t the same level of structure and organization you might find at a larger company, and priorities can shift quickly. It’s a great fit for people who enjoy that kind of fast-moving environment, but it may be less ideal for those who prefer a more defined structure. However, that same challenge creates a lot of opportunity for growth and advancement.
