Great people and work environment. Laser technology is exciting and highly technical with lots of interesting challenges and opportunities. Great place to develop wafer fab and optoelectronics experience. While it's listed on nasdaq, still feels quite small and flexible. Not afraid of people who want to innovate and really move the needle. Recognition for good or hard work. Balance of work and life is manageable and flexible. Generally, management values technical advancement and input from technical staff. Get to work in a production line that is open for engineering changes. Upper management aren't afraid to seek input from Lower level staff. Compensation is fair and health benefits are pretty good. Felt largely safe with respect to covid. G

High turnover of production staff makes the environment challenging. High power lasers is a very rapidly changing market meaning that the projects and initiatives change quickly. Not enough pto. Old equipment that needs time to keep working.
