Great clients and design opportunities, processes could use some work - Anonymous employee orange door direct Employee Review

Since the beginning, orange door has provided me with valuable knowledge and skills for both the design and print industry. They have a vast amount of high profile clients where some projects have been simple and some very challenging, some where I have to follow brand guidelines and others where I can let my creativity go free. Every day is completely different! I've found my coworkers to be extremely approachable whenever I have any questions and they always make some time out of their busy schedule to show me new things that I'm not too sure about. Although we both didn't expect me to be freelancing with orange door this long, I have felt like a valuable member of the team since the beginning. I feel very confident that when I move forward from orange door that I'll have a much stronger skill set to bring into my future employment. I am given around 2 - 7 days notice when they need me to come in and I am paid once every 2 weeks.

There are times when they do not have enough work for you, so I have had up to 3 weeks off at times - although this wasn't too much of an issue for myself as I'm on a working holiday visa so it left me with plenty of time to travel!
