Pros

- money is decent - people are mostly very helpful and nice

Cons

- very bad work-life balance. You're required to live that job and nothing else. - company rules apply only to some, depending how much the management likes them. The company rules can also change without earlier consultation with the workers. - there is no "challenging the status quo". If you ask questions, you're marked as a troublemaker. - at times unpleasant, toxic atmosphere and feedback sessions that are meant to scare and make you feel inferior, rather than motivate, f.eg. after a month in, repeatedly saying things like, I quote: "We were doing fine before you came here" or "you better focus on your KPI's, this is not your business" - have no problem firing people just because a project failed and they haven't thought of a new one. Not recommended if you want a long-term position. - the hierarchy is not flat at all. - basically a corporation posing as a startup.

Pros

This has been one of my most enjoyable places to work so far. I have never felt as productive, learned as quickly, or laughed as much in another company or organization. Our daily mission: to create impactful technological solutions to some of the world's biggest problems. I'm surrounded by open, curious, and smart minds that are committed to this. The solutions we come up with are driven by the needs of users and we constantly test and iterate on our solutions to ensure this. By doing so, we get a better understanding of the world we live in and how to best impact it. The work is very independently driven, providing for a big learning curve. Every day I'm learning. And the management here supports that completely. At this point, there are still processes that the company is trying to figure out - and that's what makes things exciting. We are still in a stage where you feel like you can have big impact on the way the company is structured and it's success. And of course since we are constantly working on new ideas and spinning out new ventures, every day is different and focus on new concepts. In my last review, it was made very clear by my manager how they want to see me grow in the next year at the company. I feel that WATTx management is not only invested in my happiness but also my professional growth. We set quarterly goals that are clear and I feel I am given the tools and the time to succeed. So far, I'm very happy to have landed at WATTx.

Cons

So far, so good at WATTx.

Pros

I spent almost 3 years working for WATTx, and the least I can say is that I loved being a member of this team. The company is well structured around 30 people that work together in multidisciplinary teams to unleash their collective innovation potential. The vision to create companies together with traditional industries is original and new in the realm of startup and innovation studios. Working with industries enables the team to follow clear guidelines when it comes to conducting research cycles, designing experiences and developing products a/o services. I learned a lot with people I consider today both as mentors and friends. In just a few words, I highly recommend working there for the autonomy you have in your everyday work and the general atmosphere that fosters both divergent and convergent thinking.

Cons

Nothing that really matters comes to my mind here, the team is trying to improve every month to make this company a better place to work. You have a say in what happens at WATTx.
