I was continually shocked at the blatant disrespect and lack or transparency upper management had towards their employees during my years at zoovu. I lost track of the empty promises and blatant lies that were given out to my colleagues and I. Despite constant reminders that the company benefited from the pandemic and was doing well, many employees took pay-cuts and those salaries were not restored even after a hiring surge took place months after. When asking for a call to talk about this issue with HR or managers, calls were canceled and messages were read and ignored. Employees are overworked and severely under-compensated and no matter the time and effort you put in you will never be recognized. The human resources department hardly exists and turns a blind eye to all the toxic behavior. Turnover is constant with some employees only staying a month or two - this leads to messy/unorganized projects and unhappy customers. You will find zero growth opportunities or pay increases no matter the time you spend with zoovu. I personally worked with employees across almost all departments and locations and all felt similarly - please beware. Marketing employees were asked to place false reviews on Glassdoor to attempt to make up for the low ratings. The company may say they are/have improved the items I mentioned above but unless the CEO and most upper management is replaced I don't see how that's possible as they are the root of the problem.
