Pros

Mild bureaucracy with a flexible and practical approach to systems and controls. In some quarters direction is lacking though. But for the young and upcoming professional there is plenty scope to contribute, learn and develop skills and make career progression and then move on.

Cons

Political connections instead of competence and skill has allowed 'leaders' to emerge who lack insight and direction leaving them to operate with deception. It caused unnecessary confusion, conflict and delays not to mention damaging morale and staff motivation. Sadly it supports a toxic work environment.

Pros

Great people to work with, 9 day fortnight, strong workplace conditions

Cons

Cultural issues, full of red flags for psychosocial issues. Not always been this way but very noticeable since 2021. Everyone is doing twice as much work with half as many people and most in the office have no idea what the company actually does outside the office.

Pros

None, the entire strategy team function at best is disorganised, and at worst is wilfully incompetent . The only good part of Endeavour is the hard working tradies and engineers actually maintaining the network.

Cons

The strategy team at Endeavour are a mess. They have zero direction, nobody within the company actually takes anything they do seriously, they waste thousands of taxpayers dollars on “offsites”- all to produce zero results. Leadership have zero oversight of anything going on, yell at each other show up late to every meeting, and yet still manage to get absolutely nothing done. There is no career direction or even a semblance of a development opportunity in the team. I have never seen a team that does such little work, yet collects such a large paycheck, This company should not have been privatised; it should of remained nationalised and focused on being a utility network. Seems like ever since privatisation they are just throwing pits of money in to failed side-ventures. There may be some good parts of Endeavour’s business- can confirm strategy is not one of them.
