Pros

Feels like a popularity contest than anything else. Passive aggressive C level, can´t trust the CEO.

Cons

Totally different from the startups I have worked with before. Stay away, immature approach to business, and too much financial instability. I have worked there almost two years. It is hard to spot it initially, but you come to see it for what it is, a toxic environment. They are proud of their "culture" which feels more like a high-school pack, where if you want to get integrated, you have to jump through hoops to be liked be the employees with more seniority. And I do not mean they look at the quality of your work, "good enough is ok", but just like in high-school, they are the bullies who decided who is "in" and who is "out". You are rated but how much your colleagues like you, and not by our skills and, by all means, if you don't get friends with the "old ones", rest assured you are excluded, the onboarding is superficial and your entire time there seen suspiciously. A bunch of immature 🙄 people that have never worked in a different company before ....worst culture wrapped in superficiality. Not the mention their HR team, that feed this nonsense culture. They are very proud of their culture, but are far away fro being inclusive.... Feels like a popularity contest than anything else. Good job, continue on this path !;)

Pros

The employees are good and kind people. It is unbearable to see them used for all the talent they have.

Cons

CEO has to be changed. He does not care about the employees, which results in them being undervalued and underpaid. Discrimination with teams, individuals and gender from the management side. Women aren't treated fairly, and the germans do not respect that it is an English-speaking company. The commercial team is highly favoured as well as the Tech Teams. This leaves the Operations and HR teams not respected, heavily underpaid for their work and less favoured. The product is a great one and would indeed revolutionize the industry. But the management will be the end of the company and this will result in a lot of people leaving soon. The founder team need to work on this.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are deeply sorry that this was your experience. As with all our colleagues, we want to remain on good terms, even if we part ways. We at enmacc believe in treating all our employees fairly and continuously reflect on our unconscious biases. In the last 12 months we appointed 5 new managers at enmacc and of those 4 were female. All employees are paid according to their performance and in line with the market. We assure this through a bi-annual 360 degree performance review and by thoroughly benchmarking every position. Furthermore, in good and in bad times, we try to be fully transparent with our team. We do so in weekly updates, monthly town hall meetings, and the OKR workshops, etc. We are open to feedback and improvement and constantly working on better communication. We have closed a highly successful Series-B in difficult times. We have the means to continue to invest into our growing team. The team can be especially proud to have achieved enormous success in the last couple months. Enmacc is all about the people within it. We are committed to keeping enmacc a great place to work and therefore value any feedback that can help us grow as a company.
