Pros

Company is a local leader in Erosion Control/SWPPP. Owners are business minded and profit driven. Good for the company but not so great when it comes to pay/benefits Opportunity for growth for someone who is not a seasoned professional. ( I would only recommend this company to someone fresh out of school who is having trouble finding employment)

Cons

Employees are over worked and under paid. The Benefits have many strings attached. The employer does not perform regular employee evaluations. Pretty much the only way to get a raise is via a promotion if you don't get one within 90 days.

Pros

- Managers available to communicate with texts - Some of the people are great to work with - Paid on time (company uses PayCom, which is very useful) - Monthly bundt cakes, I guess

Cons

- Micromanaging from the very top of the company, down to lower management/NO trust unless you're easy to manipulate/push around - EXTREMELY high turnover - Company would rather hire people willing to take a paycut & have much less experience, than people who deserve a higher pay because they actually know what they're doing - HR delegates more than gets their hands dirty - Blatant favouritism/clique-ish - Some shady stuff happens here: owners have other endeavors & do a lot of internal business with those projects, in addition - they try to hide stuff (like holding checks for a month to be deposited into the new year) - Hard work/dedication is NOT rewarded, what is rewarded is how well you suck-up, lie & rub elbows - "Environmental" is a joke, they cancelled their recycling because they do not know how to recycle * if this doesn't tell you all about the work culture, I don't know what does

Pros

A pay check every 2 weeks.

Cons

Micromanagement over worked and under payed Favoritism Bullying They give one week off for the year. Along with 2 days for thanksgiving, 1 day for christmas ( thats right, you don't get Christmas Eve off), and New years day off. On top of that, CEO Amanda HATES when employees use their time off. If you get sick, you might as well put in your two weeks bc she will make your work life hell because of it. The 2 CEOs have a few favorites that they treat like royalty, the rest are all replaceable. This is honestly the most toxic place to work. I don't know how i made it 2 years. DO NOT WORK HERE. They pay is the lowest in the industry. Especially for what they expect of you. Oh, and it's literally musical chairs there. One day you're in accounting, the next month you're an estimator, then you're a PM, and not in the good way. You come in and they tell you that your position has switched. No increase of pay, no discussion. Nothing. They offer extremely high health insurance, and it doesn't cover much. No retirement plans.
